A recent research article published in August 2010 in the Scientific and Clinical Journal “Lasers in Surgery and Medicine” concluded that “Constant wave light is the gold standard and has been used for all Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) applications. However, this review of the literature indicates that overall pulsed light may be superior to constant wave light with everything else being equal.”
I am now selling a New Lazerfish which will be pulsed at 9khz. 250mw of power. Not sure how effective the other frequencies will be for hairloss.
I have some ”exciting new LLLT products” coming out soon, a New Pulsed Blowfish 9khz Helmet is one of them. Too early to talk about the other.
”However”, my opinion on Pulsing is that it ”may be a little more effective” , but ”not hugely so”.
Again, as I always tell people, LLLT is no miracle cure for Male Pattern Baldness, Pulsing or Not. It is best for slowing hair fallout, and thickening existing hair. You may see some moderate regrowth.
”PLEASE NOTE” If you have Male Pattern Baldness / Androgenic Alopecia, you must block the DHT in the follicle either topically or systemically.
Thanks as always!
Mike!
