Jag har alltid trott att det bara är känsliga killar som bryr sig om håravfall. Nu har jag dock hittat belägg för att det inte är så. I alla fall om man inte kategoriserar Wayne Rooney som en känslig kille. Så här skriver Wayne Rooney i sin bok “My Story”, HarperCollins Publishers London 2006:
I’ve never worried about my looks, even as a young teenager when I first started going out with girls. I never tought i was handsome but didn’t think I was ugly either; I just alwats thought I looked, well, well, normal.
I suppose that’s because I’m not vain. I am not fussed either way about my appearance, and certainly don’t spend any time looking at myself in the mirror.
Perhaps the only thing I used to worry about was my hair. When I was about 16 I began to think my haur was receding which concerned me- after all, no bloke wants to lose his hair. I still think about it from time to time and althoug it probably thinning I don’t really worry that much.
