So, for me to do the wiring and get it so all you have to do is plug it in and wear it… it costs $1125 plus shipping for a 300 diode helmet. Yes, that’s $200 more than the “Do-it-yourself Kit” for the labor that it takes. If you want more or less diodes (300 is pretty common, and probably what I’d recommend), the pricing structure is this… start with $375 for the helmet/labor/power supply/etc., and add $2.50 for each diode. Therefore, a 200 diode helmet is $875, a 250 diode helmet is $1000, a 400 diode is $1375, and like I said… a 300 diode helmet is $1125.
