The battery should last up to about 500 charges. The battery only needs to be charged once every several weeks (3 or 4) if using it 3 times per week at 10 to 15 minutes per treatment, so you are looking at years of life.
Of course nothing is built to last forever so it will need to be replaced one day.
Treating the Blowfish and all parts very gently is the ticket to having it last long and trouble free, very important.
